When you make Rail Yard Retreat the home base for your southwestern vacation, you can immerse yourself in the best Santa Fe has to offer! Just a short walk from the city, you'll experience firsthand the amazing architecture of the original Spanish Market Square, the 17th Century Palace of the Governors, the New Mexico Museum of Art, the Loretto Chapel with its unusual spiral staircase winding up to the choir loft, quaint shops, amazing restaurants, and so much more! Conveniently located near historic downtown Santa Fe, this two-bedroom, one-bath home also gives you easy access to the nearby pueblos, where you can immerse yourself in the rich Native American history and culture of one of the country's most unique cities.

Built in the traditional Pueblo Revival adobe style, Rail Yard Retreat combines comfort with charm. A light, bright, and cozy area features wood floors, comfortable furnishings, ceiling fan, and a flat-screen cable smart TV. Meet at the cozy bistro table to enjoy a card game or drinks and a chat while the kids become absorbed in a movie. A few steps away, Rail Yard Retreat’s spacious, eat-in kitchen features stainless steel appliances, while the wood cabinets are well stocked with all the cookware, dinnerware, and utensils you’ll need to prepare your favorite Mexican dishes (or heat up leftovers from one of the many culinary delights the area has to offer).

Rail Yard Retreat's primary bedroom features a plushy queen-size bed, a roomy armoire, reading chair and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom is furnished with a futon that doubles as a queen size bed and a handy workspace for when you need to check in with the office. The charming full bathroom has an old-style tub with shower, and a laundry room with washer and dryer ensures you'll have lots of space for souvenirs in your luggage without having to run to a Laundromat. Outside, Rail Yard Retreat's large, fenced backyard with fire pit and outdoor seating offers a spacious retreat where you and your family (including your pet!) can sit and enjoy sunny New Mexico's blue vista by day and starry skies by night while you sip some wine.

Located in the heart of Santa Fe, not far from some of New Mexico's best skiing, biking, hiking and rafting opportunities, Rail Yard Retreat is the ideal spot from which to enjoy your Southwestern vacation. Be sure to lock down your dates before someone else gets in ahead of you!

It\'s a great little house on a pretty quiet street just a block from the SF Rail Yard strip (brewery, shops, movie theater, etc), and a pleasant walk under a mile to the plaza. They don\'t really advertise it, but there\'s a futon in the living room that can also be used to sleep on, making it three beds total. We wish some coffee had been stocked and the fire pit had been in place as advertised (perhaps the latter was taken out due to fire restrictions), but we\'d nonetheless gladly stay here again.
