We spent the summer in Santa Fe and rented this apartment sight unseen. We were very pleased. Our apartment was very quiet and clean. The community felt extremely safe and parking couldn't have been easier. I never saw one bug inside the apartment! When repairs needed to be made, service could be a bit slow, but the management staff was willing to try to accomodate the tenents needs. Overall we were extremely satisfied and would recommend this community highly.

This is a great little, quiet, condo community,I ve been visiting my friends for over a year, sure you ve got the noisy neighbor or speedy driver, but this is a hidden secret for professionals commuting to Los Alamos, lots of older people live here, they don't allow stereos or smoking, one problem I noticed is while visitors get choice parking , elders who are long term owners and residents have to carry their groceries quite a ways, this could easily be resolved,by proper signage, and the complex should only offer leases of six months minimum,to keep long term residents from suffering from constant moving in or out of month to month renters, disrupting the quiet and peace of the community!

Just had to write after seeing the star rating for the office staff... The Reserve exhibits excellence across the board: grounds, design, maintenance, etc. But why it stands out as a condominium association is because of its highly skilled, knowledgable, and dedicated staff. There's no doubt that most are driven to write a negative review because they are unhappy with rules of condo living, rules that the office staff should and must enforce. People usually don't write when they are content. I'm content as a longtime resident of over a decade, but not so happy that the staff does not get the recognition they truly deserve. Their efforts and sincere concerns for all living here is what makes The Reserve one of the best condominium complexes to be found anywhere.

I am puzzled as to the comment regarding the office staff. Rosa, the office person, knows everyone by name and absolutely couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The grounds are well kept. The maintenance staff is quick to fix problems that are the responsibility of the Reserve. This is a five-star community if there ever was one.

I am a resident/owner of the Reserve at Santa Fe. There are many problems at this complex. The walls are thin and the ceilings are thinner. You are able to hear the individual above your unit void into the toilet and then flush it!! You are able to hear the incessant walking and dropping of items from the unit above. You are able to hear music, televisions and the movement of the residents/renters living side by side to you. God forbid if there are children or an animal living above you. The noise is endless and unbearable. There are mold issues in some of the units. The washing machines and dryers are old and dirty. Parking is a problem. The General Manager and Secretary are less than 'professional' to say the least. The Secretary is continuously on the phone with her children or husband or is eating. Unfortunately, since the passing of ---------, the previous General Manager, the Management has gone to 'hell in a hand basket'! The location is wonderful as I do commute. The maintenance men are kind and reliable. Snow is promptly removed during the winter months. The grounds are clean. The swamp coolers are serviced. Safety can be an issue . . . but it is an issue regardless of where you live in Santa Fe. Renters are allowed on property and this is a BIG negative issue!! So there you have it . . . the good, the bad and the ugly!!
