Paul's expertise in bronze work led him to collaborate with various foundries in town, including Shidoni and The Allan House Foundry. He even had his own one-man foundry at the house, where he created his own art and contributed to the projects of fellow artists. Additionally, Paul shared his knowledge and passion for the craft by teaching moldmaking and bronze casting at the community college. The remaining artworks in the house are predominantly sourced from the local community, traded among coworkers and friends.

Caster's Retreat also boasts an impressive book collection, curated to reflect the research interests of Nancy Lewis. As an anthropologist and historian, Nancy delved into fascinating topics such as the health seekers in New Mexico, chronicled in her book "Chasing the Cure in New Mexico: Tuberculosis and the Quest for Health." Another forthcoming publication explores the role of New Mexico's war dogs during World War II. Nancy's investigative prowess even led her to collaborate with the FBI on a project involving cattle mutilation in the 1980s, resulting in her authoring the FBI report for Ken Rommel.
