Where you'll be
Ideal for smaller families or two couples traveling together, this small yet spacious home is located on Santa Fe's historic east side and built in Santa Fe's distinctive Pueblo Revival style. With wood floors, comfortable furniture, lots of light and a viga ceiling, Casita Contenta’s bright living room is a great place to hang out. A cable HDTV provides the entertainment, or you can take advantage of the free Wi-Fi to surf the web or check out the local attractions while you plan your day's adventures. Santa Fe has a plethora of wonderful restaurants and coffee shops, but if you feel like having a night in, Casita Contenta’s colorful and complete kitchen is ready to accommodate you. Fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and all the cookware, utensils and dishes you’ll need, you’ll be able to prepare anything from an elaborate meal to a toasted jalapeno bagel and cup of coffee. A separate dining room with fireplace is a great place to enjoy your meals (or a lively board game), or you can enjoy your dinner outside on the covered brick patio while you enjoy the beautiful, private garden.
You’ll want to be well rested for all the great hiking opportunities the area has to offer, and Casita Contenta’s comfortable bedrooms (each furnished with queen-size beds) can help you with that. Stocked with fresh, fluffy towels, both brilliantly tiled full bathrooms mean you won't have to wait in line to shower. As for the primary bath, it’s like a private stall with a large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower!
Proof that convenience and charm can go hand-in-hand, Casita Contenta is the perfect base of operations for your Santa Fe getaway. So don’t let it get away from you—book your stay for your best Southwestern vacation today! Please be advised that there are two friendly, Giant Schnauzers that have free roam through out the property.

This Casita and property are gorgeous, well kept and in a great location close to attractions. Kitchen well equipped. Bring your own caffeinated coffee, only decaf was kindly provided. Basic toiletries are offered in bathrooms, lots of towels provided. There are dogs that are said to be friendly but they do bark loudly and seem unapproachable in a beautiful shared yard. One of the beds was almost too hard and could use a real duvet inside the cover instead of a heavy old comforter. Take caution walking up to the Casita at night, and during snowy weather. Can be very slippery up the steps and path is not well lit. Lastly, there were ants in every room on our last night. DO NOT leave ANY food out AT ALL. Hide your makeup, perfumes, toothpaste and toothbrushes. We lost quite a bit of high end products due to the ants. We can live with ants but a warning would have been nice to be better prepared for them. Over all our stay was enjoyable with lots to do in the area!

This casita home is an absolute dream! The property itself is beautiful, and from the moment you walk in the door you feel right at home. If you get to meet the owners of the main home, they are incredibly kind and welcoming. All around 5/5 stars- a true little slice of HEAVEN!

The property is awesome. It would have been helpful to have additional information on distance to attractions including nearby hiking trails. The property was very clean, but simple things in the kitchen were limited. Example if you provide a coffee maker provide the filters. There were also zero games or puzzles in the property. Part of the fun of a VRBO is seeing what family games are available .

+ Very cool casita on an amazing property. Loved the furnishing. - Beds! Two small queens? If you are 2 single people staying there then 2 queens are fine but if you’re a couple w/ kids or 2 couples there needs to be king beds.
