Great place to stay if you’re visiting Santa Fe area and don’t want to stay in town. Quiet, clean, with great sunset views and only 1 mile to 9 mile trail for morning walks.

The property and house are gorgeous! Spectacular views for sunrise and sunsets. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are comfy but the rest of the furniture is more for show. It is not very comfortable for relaxing with a book or watching TV. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and only a short drive to Santa Fe, as well as so many other day trips, like Bandelier National Monument, Route 66, and the Turquoise Trail. Highly recommend eating at the Legal Tender Saloon, 15 mins away in Lamy, NM! A couple of things the listing should mention... There is an occupied casita that shares the property. We were not expecting to have a neighbor. The driveway does not get plowed. It snowed quite a bit and we could not make it back up to the house for most of the week. We had an SUV but it was not 4WD. We had no problem walking up the driveway but others might, especially when you have to carry the luggage up to the house or down to the car.
